NEW BRUNSWICK, NEW JERSEY – On Wednesday, 11am ET, the Corporate Action Network (CAN) will file a complaint with the Department of Justice (DOJ) against Johnson and Johnson (J&J) and the corporation's top executives, including Chairman and CEO Alex Gorsky for destroying documents critical to lawsuits brought by thousands of women seriously injured by the corporation's pelvic mesh implants.  Spokespeople and advocates as well as pelvic mesh implants survivors will field questions from the press regarding their new campaign against J&J and their process going forward.

WHO/WHAT: Levana Layendecker, Jane Akre, and others for a press conference call with survivors living with injuries related to J&J pelvic mesh.
WHEN: Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 11:00 am EST
DIAL-IN INFO: 866-952-1907 or 785-424-1826; *Conference ID: JOHNSON

"The real war on women isn't being fought in Congress or on political talk shows, it's taking place in executive boardrooms, where corporate profits are prioritized over women's health," explained Levana Layendecker, of Corporate Action Network (CAN.)  "The DOJ should immediately investigate whether Johnson and Johnson deliberately destroyed evidence that would have undercut its defense in the lawsuits over pelvic mesh."
